BRUDENELL ROAD | CANFORD CLIFFS, DORSET

Sharp edges, concrete horizontal bands and distinctive herringbone brickwork.

Sharing the same minimal material palette, both the high-end apartment block and the adjacent individual residence work together to create a wide stance on the street. Their elegant forms are a composition of sharp edges, concrete horizontal bands and distinctive herringbone brickwork which demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship in each architectural element of the design.

Beyond the striking street-facing facade, particular attention has been paid to the side elevations where the need for privacy has been carefully balanced with the aspiration to maximise views out to Poole Harbour. Simple elevations have been transformed by the addition of well-considered features such as oversized louvers and barbed walls. These pull away from the predominant line of the external wall to provide light deep into the structure, and capture views of the harbour.

Internally, both structures are fitted out with highly luxurious bedroom suites and living spaces. Each of the five apartments perfectly suit the aspirations of modern living. The kitchen, living and dining facilities open to panoramic views of Poole Harbour, and large terraces serve as a connection between residents and the unique surroundings which define their homes.
